ANNOUNCE AND AWARD OF 2023 STUDENT WORKSHOP

The announcement and awarding ceremony of the 2023 Student Workshop for the first time organized by Nhavui XS Studio (a member company of Nha Vui Group) took place in an important atmosphere at the Opening Ceremony of the Young Creativity Exhibition: Architecture - Interior - Landscape with the theme "Breakthrough space". The event was organized by Nha Vui Group in the morning of September 29, 2023 at the Youth Cultural House.

Workshop was for the graduated young architects and 3rd, 4th, and 5th year students from the Universities of Architecture in planning, landscape, architecture, construction, interior, fine arts… in HCM City. It took place from August 28 - September 16, 2023.

 

The development of the economy has raised community awareness of the role of public spaces in general and public works in particular. These public spaces contribute to enrich the material and spiritual lives of people. In that context, public spaces for children are increasingly given attention and become an indispensable part of the urban structure. Children, the future of the country, need spaces to satisfy their rich imagination, as well as their curiosity to explore and develop their minds and bodies.

The Jury:

• M.Arch Nguyen Thu Phong: Founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors - General Director of Nha Vui Group, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects, term X (2020-2025)
• Arch Nguyen Van Tat - Standing member of the Vietnam Association of Architects, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Architecture Magazine, in charge of the Nha Dep magazine.
• M.Arch Nguyen Hoang Thao Phuong - Lecturer, Faculty of Architecture, Van Lang University

Nhavui XS Studio's Summer Workshop aimed to design public art works. Its goals enrich and diversify functional spaces of children's houses. There were two items in this workshop, including:

• Outdoor Public Art: Outdoor artwork in the lobby between building clusters
• Indoor Public Art: Indoor decorative reliefs in the two entrance halls of the theater auditorium
