THE GROUND-BREAKING CEREMONY OF KHANH HOA CHILDREN’S HOUSE ACCORDING TO NHA VUI’S DESIGN

On the morning of June 1, 2023, Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board held the Ground-breaking Ceremony of Children’s House according to the design that won the first prize of Nha Vui designed by Ma.Arch Nguyen Thu Phong - Chairman cum General Director.

Provincial Children's House approved investment policy by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council in Resolution No. 123/NQ-HDND dated November 15, 2022 with a total investment of 544,577 billion VND, from the state budget. The project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.

The land area for construction of the Provincial Children's House is located at 62 Thai Nguyen, Phuong Sai Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, the intersection of 6, the center of Nha Trang City, considered as a "diamond land" including three fronts bordering Thai Nguyen, Yersin, Le Thanh Phuong and the famous Stone Church in the opposite side. The project is built on the foundation of old buildings on the land, including the Provincial Children's House, the old premises of Le Quy Don High School, and Khanh Hoa General Technical - Career Center.

The project has a total construction area of 2.71ha including 8 functional areas: Block A – children theater block (Including 3 main floors of auditorium + 1 technical floor + 1 terrace + 1 roof); Block B - central classroom block (Including 4 floors + 1 roof floor); Block C - administrative block, serving boarding (Including 5 floors + 1 roof floor); Block D - The young sports palace serves indoor sports activities, group activities rehearsals (reasonably located in the area adjacent to the sports fields); Zone E - cluster of sports courts for physical training; Zone F - outdoor swimming pool for teaching and competition for youth of the province; Zone G - square and artistic water music performance; Zone H - children's playground.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this is a key and meaningful project of the province, a place of cultural activities and useful physical training for many generations, especially future generations, is also the passion to lead of the periods. Therefore, the leaders of Khanh Hoa province directed the Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board and related units under the companionship and support of the Party Committee, authorities at all levels and the people to closely follow the project. From the groundbreaking to the inauguration, in the spirit of the project must ensure quality, aesthetics and savings.

According to Nha Vui’s design, the entire area is designed with the main function of being a green park combined with a new construction investment province's cultural palace. The plan has identified the nature and function of the cultural palace park as a cultural and educational park, serving many objects. The park forms a typical community space of the city and is a place for cultural exchange activities during holidays, Tet, and annual activities to serve residents and visitors.
